This was displayed as two pieces on each side of a door in one of the administration buildings at A & M University. The woman held the reef and the man held the star. In the finishing room at the foundry, I temporarily bolted the pieces down to a mount for the last step which was the patina (coloring). When I piveted them around, the star, by chance, fell perfectly into the middle of the reef, forming the complete A & M Seal. I wish it would have been mounted in this way instead of 2 separate pieces. | |
